Karen painted this view from her VW Vanagan when there was a driveway to this exact spot. Cars and trucks were able to drive on this portion of the beach. She opened the slider door of her Vanagon with her easel set up in the back and painted the view. Due to erosion, there is no longer a place to park her portable studio.
