If you think the ferry ride from Cape Cod to Martha's Vineyard is a short one wait till you take the ferry from Edgartown to Chappaquiddick; it takes about two minutes to cross the busy little harbor.
In this autumn view from the Chappaquiddick side, the old waterfront of Edgartown is seen at its best.
